low reserve auction! don’t miss this! i have no idea of how to fairly price this “one-of-a-kind” vintage trailer and set the reserve low less than my investment . let’s just let it go to the highest bidder and start at $500. i trust in this process to find the right buyer who knows the true value of such things. don’t let the low starting bid fool you though as this gem is a beautiful example of shasta’s iconic “canned ham” camper trailer and a star performer at rallies or out camping in the wilderness. this iconic “winged” charmer we named “einstein” due to his absolute mirror-polished brilliance and it has been garaged ever since being restored. he is ready to hit the road and make your dreams come true! he was renovated from the floor up skin off where necessary to repair or replace any failed framing wood joinery and old water damaged paneling. all windows were removed weather-proofed re-screened and re-hung with stainless steel screws and new butyl tape. new aluminum skins were installed where needed over the back lid and under the rear window. all walls were insulated with reflective reinforced foil heat barrier sheeting double-bubble polyethylene wrap before reassembly with all seems sealed. most of the skin is factory original and was manufactured with a “delete paint” code. this is why we elected to polish the exposed bare aluminum to a deep shine rather than paint it. some character dings hail dents creases scratches and tiny tears are still present consistent with age and stand to honor this trailer’s 63 years of longevity. all external lights and markers were rewired by an electrician and work no damage to lenses. both inside lights are 110v for shore power only the vintage gas lamp has been deactivated but remains intact. interior beech paneling was restored and shellacked back to original finish no water stains present. new luxury vinyl plank floors were installed over original tiles. a new $1 000 chemical free hermetically sealed pouch encapsulated electric remote toilet resides in wardrobe closet. original 3-burner stove/oven was tested and is fully functioning new gas line plumbed to new aluminum lp tank. original ice box works as designed. old water tank was removed but kitchen faucet works when hooked-up to an outside supply. interior is set up for sleeping 2 adults on a new custom king-sized mattress yes it’s a king . newly reupholstered dinette cushions pillows upper sleeping berths and original table are included in purchase. outdoor awning is also included.new custom chrome/red steel wheels freshly inspected/packed bearings and high-quality radial tires goodyear endurance were installed about 300 miles ago. clear ca title period-correct vintage registered license plate included. 1 100 pound curb weight and light tongue weight. can easily be towed by most cars as seen here by our mini cooper s. purchaser will receive 2 hard-bound photo archive books illustrating the step-by-step restoration process that was professionally done. they say if there aren’t any pictures it probably didn’t happen. i’m happy to send any additional photos or answer any questions. pick up in southern oregon. serious bidders only. good luck!
