1979 Shasta Class A

a 1979 shasta motorhome 24 feet long on a chevy van 30 frame with a 400 cu in engine and automatic transmission. mileage 88159 so this one has been used and hasnt just sat around getting rusty with the seals and the gaskets drying out. a ready-to-go motorhome. this motorhome is old but it is no project homeit is fully functional. check the oil gas and water then go camping. it sleeps three to six depending upon the size of your family. over-the-cab bed 56 x 88 fold-out couch 43 x 68 and convertible kitchen/bed 47 x 88 . i bought this motorhome in florida last year drove it up from there took it to washington dc and back this spring plus local trips but i have to sell. id like to keep it but my wife has decided that she is not an rver and my daughter and her husband have been stationed in england for three years so i dont have the excuse of following them around the country. i dont want to have it just sit it needs to be used and im not going to use it by myself. just in the past year ive had the rear wheel bearings repacked rear brakes replaced new brake master cylinder installed tune-up oil and filter change i have all the records . im installing a brand new dometic duo therm brisk air ii 13 500 btu roof air conditioner and just had the cab air recharged. previous owner resurfaced the roof a few years ago and ive detected no leaks. it has cruise control but it does not work and i never tried to get it fixed since i didnt think using cruise control would be economical or practical on a five-ton motorhome. rear air lift load lifter 5000 leveling/shock system onan 4.0 generator bfa series inside and outside start three-way norcold refrigerator atwood 6 gallon water heater works great coleman furnace and it works just fine automatic electric ignition magic chef four-burner stove with oven and broiler shurflo 12 volt water pump fresh water tank capacity 38 gallons black water 17 gallons and gray water 17 gallons new sewer discharge assembly including knife valves and new sewer discharge hose combination shower/toilet with dc fan vent. winegard digital roof antenna fm/am/radio/cd player with remote and rear coach speaker system danby microwave oven goplus high lift rv hitch-mount cargo carrier 2 inch receiver luggage-basket hauler five-hundred-pound rating with locking hitch pin brand new delco deep cell rv/marine coach battery cab air brand new 13 500 btu dometic duo therm roof a/c 40 amp power converter/charger built-in 78 pound lp tank custom-made roof ladder. check the pictures come by and have a look kick the tires and i think you will agree that this motor home is worth the effort and the price. with proper maintenance this home should give someone many years of service. ill answer any questions you have and send you more pictures if you want them. ive got the original chevy van manual the coach manual and the manuals for most of the items listed above. this motorhome is in good shape but is sold as is no warranty express or implied because it is old and undoubtedly will need something repaired or replaced somewhere along the line. a few dings dents and patches do exist but as you can see from the pictures it looks good for its age. located in louisville kentucky. cell
