i acquired this truck and camper combo from my brother who was the second owner. within the last year i drove it from texas to maine down to key west florida and back to texas. perfectly smooth trip! that said i just purchased a lake home and finances need to focus on that for now so i have to let the traveling go.the truck is a 2008 ford f350 4x4 6.4l powerstroke diesel fully loaded crew cab with 120 000 miles. it’s well maintained with all records. it has a clean car-fax and has no accident history. it looks nearly new inside and out. it has a nice factory stereo factory trailer brake controller 2.5” receiver hitch auxiliary back up camera and all the power options like heated and electric seats back up alarm defrosting mirrors cruise power windows including the back one etc. it’s a tan/gold exterior color with a tan interior. the ranch hand front bumper replacement is a beast with a 2” receiver hitch for a winch or accessories. there’s also an insanely bright led light bar on the bumper that kicks on with the high beams. it’s truly a great truck with tons of power towing capability etc. it’s geared nicely and will run down the highway at 85 all day long loaded with the camper or a big trailer yet pulls and accelerates hard too. it does have air bags in the rear suspension to give a little boost when carrying the camper. it also has nearly new bfg a/t ko tires all around with about 15k miles—just one big trip.the 2009 lance 1181 camper is also as close to perfect as you’ll find. it’s always been stored indoors. the roof windows siding etc are all perfect with no leaks or issues. lance campers are the best for longevity and build quality. all systems work as they should. it’s a big camper with all the luxuries you’d expect in a full sized motorhome. the refrigerator is 3-way power ac/dc/propane and works perfectly. there’s a propane onan generator two self-switching propane tanks a convection microwave ducted central heat great rooftop a/c fantastic fans in bathroom and bedroom area solar panel on the roof to keep batteries topped off when outside 4 electric jacks with remote controls for easy camper removal outside shower and more. the bathroom is roomy with a separate shower. there’s one big slide out that moves the dinette and refrigerator outward. it works perfectly. there’s also a great deal of storage in this camper with numerous closets hidden compartments a pantry and exterior storage areas. it can sleep up to 5 with the comfy queen bed up front the fold down dinette double size and a fold down single bunk above the dinette. there’s a ladder to access the roof storage area a fold down rear step trailer hitch extension for towing with the camper on the back and all original paperwork manuals and even bed spreads and such included. it presently has a high-end composting toilet installed. some people love them some people hate them. the original black water tank and all plumbing is still 100% intact and the original potty comes with the rig neatly wrapped in a black plastic bag! it’s easy to reinstall if you prefer the original toilet to the composting “peat moss” type.the truck and camper work so well together that i’d hate to separate them. it’s located in granbury texas—about an hour from dfw airport. fly-in and drive home anywhere on the continent with confidence. i’m happy to arrange pick-up from airport. i have a clean title in my name for the truck and the original “certificate of origin” for the camper—it has never had a title issued as our states didn’t issue titles for non-motorized and non-trailer campers—but i still have all the original factory documentation.
